Just a quick trip a few miles today to Morehead City, North Carolina. We docked at the Morehead City Marina, as we needed new batteries and charger for the bow thruster. The marina has a courtesy van, which we used to go to the various stores to fill our needs.
We got everything working again.
At the marina, we saw our first – and only – orange sport fish. With a touch of black, it could have been the mascot for the Mancelona Ironmen!
A freight train goes right through downtown here, in fact down the middle of the divided main boulevard.
We had dinner on the waterfront at the Ruddy Duck, where we enjoyed excellent mussels in jalapenos with cilantro, and Cajun Calamari.
