Back along the path we had come, we headed north (downriver) on the St. Johns River. This houseboat had just nosed up to shore for the night, and the mariners were enjoying their morning coffee.
Tonight we anchored just off Turkey Island, where pleasant homes lined the shore near the tiny town of Welaka.
