March 27, 2012 - Vero Beach, Florida

Next stop Vero Beach, just 6.7 miles away. Monarch is too large to dock directly at the Vero Beach Yacht Club, so we docked at the marginal city marina next door. We had a pleasant walk to the beach on the Atlantic, just 1¼ miles away. Halfway to the beach was a great Ace Hardware, where we stocked up on Noxon metal polish. A quicker walk down the dock and across the parking lot took us to the Club for dinner that evening.
